Dear
Bowler Bob,
As leader of Girl
Scout Troop 11279 I want to personally THANK YOU
for helping my 6th grade girls earn a badge on “Team
Work” last week!
Your energy and enthusiasm
for bowling is amazing! Yet, what is even more amazing,
is your ability to draw parallels between that game
and real life!
Using big goofy bowling
shoes and colorful pins, you taught my troop about
leadership, problem solving, compromising and handling
peer pressure. These are important life skills that
my girls will take with them into junior high. You
did this with your wonderful sense of humor and
by sharing stories from your own life experiences.
I can’t thank you enough for sharing part
of yourself with us.
Your message really
hit home with the girls. In fact, the day after
your workshop I received several phone calls and
emails from parents wanting to express their gratitude
for the message you brought their daughters.
Yes, there will be
many “Bobstacles” in their young lives.
But, I am sure their new found positive “Klattitudes”
will be there to help them through all that comes
their way in life! You made a difference in the
lives of these young girls.
Thank you for sharing
your time and talents with Girl Scouts!
Sincerely
Connie Wetzel
