For the last three years, my husband and I have been working towards the goal of buying our first home for our family. It was not something we wanted to jump into unprepared so we took our time to prepare financially and to decide exactly what we wanted our home to be like.

When we decided we were ready to dive in and purchase our first home we could not decide whether we wanted to buy an existing home or build our home from scratch. We looked at existing homes on the market and could not find anything that was up to our expectations and in our price range. We then talked to several people that we knew who had built their own home. They all had the same thing to say, "Be very careful with the builder you choose" and "it is very hard and hectic to build your own home". Not one person we talked to was willing to recommend the builder that built their homes.

Despite the negativity we heard about building a home, we decided that building was the best option for us. We were extremely apprehensive when we first started looking at models because we were young and knew nothing about the process. The first home we walked into was a Paul Wagner Homes model. We were in love immediately. The floor plan was exactly what we were looking for and the details put into the home were beautiful. We looked at five other models from five other builders and we kept coming back to the Paul Wagner home we had first seen. We decided that this was going to be our new home.

We met with Bob Klatt a week later and went through the purchase agreement. Immediately I knew that Bob cared about our needs and was committed to doing everything to make sure our home was exactly how we wanted it. We Met Paul Wagner the following week and once again was shown that what we wanted mattered the most.

Throughout the whole building process, we were impressed with the service we received from Paul and Bob. Anytime we noticed something that was not right, I called Bob who was immediately on the ball and he got the problem fixed. Many times we did not even have to call him; he was calling us to follow up. There was this devotion to us as their customers that had gone beyond my expectations and put our minds completely at ease.

Even after our home was finished, Bob was in contact with us on a regular basis to make sure that everything was still going good and that there were not any problems. If there was a problem, someone was out to our home within a day or two to fix it. Even five months after we moved into our home, Bob is still in contact with me. Here is a builder who not only wanted to build you the home of your dreams, but his project manager also wanted to make sure that it remained that, even after the building process was done.

I could honestly not talk of one time that was hectic or that was a hassle for us during the process of building our home. Paul and Bob walked every step of the way with us and made this the most pleasurable and rewarding experience for us. We are in the minority of people who can say that building a home was actually pleasurable and fun and we have to thank Paul and Bob for giving us this experience.

As family and friends have come to see our new home, we hear many compliments about the beauty and craftsmanship. Every one of them asks us about our builder. We are the first ones that we know that can honestly say that we would not use anyone other than Paul Wagner Homes if we did it again. I cannot imagine not having people like Paul and Bob a part of the home building experience.
