- Bob Klatt has
lived a life of “Balls and Strikes”.
He grew up in the small town of Horicon, WI
where he had visions of being a major league baseball
umpire and professional bowler. In 1986, he was the
"Outstanding 2nd-year Student" at the Wendelstedt
Umpire School, Daytona Beach, FL. After that he officiated
in the Class "A" New York/Pennsylvania baseball
League. It was then that Bob realized he would rather
roll strikes than call them. Eventually he pursued competing
in the regional Professional Bowlers Association.
- Bob’s
winding career path has been a real learning curve
filled with roll-up-your sleeves experiences. After
his first job as a dishwasher, he cleaned bowling pinsetters,
baled hay, was a golf course greenskeeper, worked in
canning factories (Green Giant/Pillsbury), and did assembly
at manufacturing plants (Chrysler and John Deere among
others). He even worked at UPS and a Kwik Trip convenience
store before he worked up the gumption to hit
his life reset button and start college at
age 24.
- Since then, Bob has accumulated
extensive business and management experience
in privately and publicly held companies in various
industries (Hospitality, Recreation, Sporting Goods,
Manufacturing, Textiles, Construction, Real Estate,
and Information Technology). He has been a successful
manager and director of marketing and sales, small business
marketing and management consultant and account executive.
Bob has given as many as 130 sales presentations
a year. Bob holds an Executive MBA in Business
with a focus on leading and managing organizational
change.
- As the self-acclaimed
“Kingpin of Personal Improvement” Bowler
Bob is much more than an act. Bob is a genuine
blue jean guy. His magnetic personality is
transparent of way he lives his life. Drawing from his
experiences, Bob is able to connect with people
of all walks of life and encourage them to
have a can do positive Klattitude!
